#ArsenalLive: Arsenal ‘takes over’ Twitter, again

#ArsenalLive is back. It seems the football team so enjoyed the attention it got from the first Twitter takeover that it decided to do another one. Hear hear. As before, players take the “hot seat” and fans pose questions. Each player has five minutes to answer the selected questions. Good luck with that boys.

“We’ll be at the training ground to catch up with some of the first-team squad and we want you to put YOUR questions to them via the @Arsenal Twitter page. Just use the hashtag #ArsenalLive to make sure we can see your question. We’re keeping the identity of the players under wraps for now but join us from 10.30am (UK time) to find out who is first in the hotseat,” the club wrote on its website.

I must say I am a little disappointed. Aaron Ramsey makes a second appearance on the hot seat, yet Arsenal fan favourites like Robin van Persie and Alex Song are nowhere to be seen.

It seems Arsenal fans care more about the players personal tastes than they do about asking actual football questions. Here are some highlights from the the Twitter takeover:

Aaron Ramsey — Midfielder

Laurent Koscielny — Defender

Yossi Benayoun — Striker

Francis Coquelin — Defensive midfielder

Carl Jenkinson — Defensive midfielder

Andre Santos — Defender
