You’ll never guess what this bathroom company got its taps to do

Cobra symphony

Cobra is best known for making bathroom fittings, something most of us don’t spend too much time thinking about, especially in public restrooms. In a bid to change that, the company decided to give people attending a show at The Baxter, a theater in Cape Town, South Africa a bit of a surprise.

By rigging up the taps to a sound system in the women’s bathroom, Cobra was able to make each of them play a section of orchestral music. All the taps running together in harmony created a symphonic performance. Pretty appropriate, given the range is called Symphony.

We’re not sure that it was the most environmentally responsible way to get people talking about the new range, but it must have been lovely to be present while it was happening.
