Johannesburg

In South Africa’s economic heartland, a number of marches and demonstrations are taking place, including a DA-organised march at Newtown’s Mary Fitzgerald Square, a demonstration along Beyers Naude Drive at the N1 intersection, and gatherings outside Luthuli House in the CBD.

A silent protest outside the Gupta’s compound in Saxonwold has also been reported, including a gathering in Edenvale.

Durban

Durban’s beachfront has seen increased foot traffic this morning, including mass gatherings outside North Beach and outside Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Tshwane

Church Square is the site of the largest gathering in the capital, with a march to the Union Buildings also planned.
