You could call Spotify ungenerous giving potential Premium subscribers just one month to experience the tier. But now, the Scandinavian music streaming company is extending this period by two months.

From now on, those members enrolling in Spotify Premium will receive three months for free.

If you already have and pay for Spotify Premium, that’s tough, because you won’t be able to take advantage of the offer. Those who are currently enrolled on the free tier or haven’t yet made an account will be eligible.

New Premium subscribers will get their first three months for free

Premium offers a few advantages over the free tier, including no ads, downloads for offline playback, and unlimited skips. Premium users also get multi-device toggling and the ability to play any track they desire.

Earlier this month, the company announced that it had crossed the 100-million Premium subscriber milestone, with 230-million users in total across the world.

While this extended trial period will roll out globally, Spotify South Africa still lacks a number of key tiers and features that the European and American markets enjoy. This includes Family and Premium Duo accounts.
