Khaya is an award-winning advertising personality and is currently the Creative Strategic Director at Metropolitan Republic where he works on the FNB and MTN accounts. In 2008, Khaya was awarded the Digital Citizen Award at the Highway Africa Conference, the largest gathering of African Journalists in the world, while in 2009 he was awarded the Financial Mail’s AdFocus New Broom Award for outstanding and up-and-coming talent. Khaya has been blogging for one of South Africa’s most respected weekly newspapers, the Mail & Guardian since 2007. Technological communication has always interested him, which is why he decided to start making videos on YouTube in 2007 – his videos have since been viewed over six million times.
