Sony’s beast launches: 6 top PS4 exclusives to look forward to

While Sony’s next-gen console went on sale today across the US, there has been criticism concerning the limited games set to launch with the PS4 — not any more. During the PlayStation All Access event on Spike TV, developers got the chance to announce and tease hungry crowds of gamers with upcoming titles such as Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, Uncharted ,The Last of Us and more.

Destiny
While not entirely exclusive to the PS, there will be some exclusive access. Bungie has announced that its very-impressive looking Destiny title will be available in beta for PlayStation 3 and 4 users before making its way to the Xbox One.

The beta will be available for PS3 and PS4 owners who pre-order Destiny. While the game is only coming out next year, here’s a newly released trailer to whet your appetite:



Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes

According to Joystiq, Games director Hideo Kojima released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and announced that the PlayStation 4 version will feature an exclusive classic Solid Snake skin as well as PS4-exclusive mission called “Deja Vu”.

Uncharted 4
The company behind classic PS-exclusives such as Uncharted and The Last of Us, Naughty Dog, announced Uncharted 4 and revealed a The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC which both look amazing to say the least. The latter will be available 19 November.

The Last of Us: Left Behind
According to PlayStation, The Last of Us: Left Behind will take “place while Ellie is attending a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone, prior to meeting Joel and the events in the main campaign of The Last of Us.”

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is back and coming to PS3, PS4 and Vita early next year. As mentioned in a PlaySation blog postOddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a nostalgialiscious [HD] remake of our first Oddworld game, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, built from the ground up for PlayStation platforms, with brand new next-gen technology.” Take a look:

Infamous: Second Son
Another PS4 exclusive, Infamous: Second Son will be available 21 March next year. Infamous: Second Son is an action adventure game where you play a graffiti artist carrying superpowers surrounded by a society that fears the unnatural. Superhumans are ruthlessly hunted down and caged by the Department of Unified Protection.

While these titles are yet to make their way to PS fans in the coming months, we know you can’t wait that long so take a look at some of the titles currently available at launch.
