Microsoft’s Xbox One 1TB Elite console bundle is slowly making its way across the world, and one of its destinations is South Africa.
Raru, a local online retailer, has announced that the aforementioned bundle as well as the limited edition Halo 5: Guardians bundle, are available to pre-order for R8699 and R8399 respectively.

The Xbox One Elite features a customisable Elite controller (which Raru is retailing for R2279) and a 1TB hybrid drive, which boasts an SSD sector and a traditional spinning drive for faster game loads. If there’s one thing the Xbox One desperately needs, its faster game loads.

It’s considerably more expensive than the base SKU, which is around R5999.
The Halo 5: Guardians bundle though features a customised blue and silver Halo-themed console, the game, and includes a 1TB drive as well. It doesn’t feature an Elite controller, but it is more swanky than your average standard unit.
The Elite bundle will begin shipping from 27 November, while the Halo 5: Guardians package will arrive a month earlier.
