The 6S and 6S Plus phablet, for one, will both be available to preorder from today, but will begin shipping to customers from 16 October. More pertinent to consumer’s pockets though is the iPhone 6S base 16GB model’s price: R11 799. The iPhone 6S Plus 16GB model will fetch R13 599.
And if you fancy a little more storage for each device, the prices balloon to R15 499 and R17 499 for the 128GB versions respectively.
iStore has also announced a new trade in scheme for those who believe that their 12-month old iPhone 6 can no longer cut it.
“The iPhone 6s will start at R5 799 after you trade in an iPhone 6, R7 799 after you trade in an iPhone 5s, or R11 799 with no trade-in. The iPhone 6s Plus will start at R7 099 when you trade in an iPhone 6 Plus, R9 599 when you trade in an iPhone 5s or R13 599 with no trade-in,” explains the press release.
Prospective buyers can now trade in up to two devices as well, which can include a Samsung Galaxy smartphone or an iPad.
