If you’re looking to upgrade your iPhone in South Africa, you’re going to need at least R21 999 to purchase a new XS.
The iPhone XS and XS Max were revealed to the world earlier this month, and while we had a firm grasp on US pricing, the iStore today announced pricing for South Africa.

The two models will arrive with three storage variations: 64GB, 256GB and 512GB.
While users can pay off their devices over 37 months through the iStore’s payment plan, it’s the cash pricing that piqued our interest.
The cheapest iPhone in the lineup — the iPhone XS 64GB — will retail for R21 999. Its 256GB version will retail for R3000 more, while the 512GB version will top out at R29 999.
The iPhone XS Max starts at R23 999, and goes all the way to R31 999 for the 512GB variant.
iStore reportedly lumps in its iCare Plus package (which is valued at R1999) for “free” along with those prices. So other retailers may have different-sized price tags come launch day.
Earlier today, MyBroadband reported prices spotted on retailer Technomobi’s website. The XS 64GB was priced at R22 699.
Preorders for the phones will begin on 21 September, and the devices will be available to purchase from 28 September.
