    After enjoying its busiest ever day on New Year's Eve, WhatsApp has turned its attention to the most important feature of the modern messenger -- GIF support. In the company's latest beta for Android, the app now boasts its own GIF searching function.   • Twitter expands GIF size limit to 15MB for web users

    Today Twitter has announced that it's increasing the size of GIFs users can embed in tweets. Previously the size was 5MB, but Twitter's expanding it to three times that. The 15MB-sized GIFs are not available on the Twitter app for now and Twitter has not mentioned when this addition will happen. This should at least alleviate some concernĀ for users with limited mobile data plans. In 2015, the company claimed that over 100-million GIFs are shared on the platform.
