Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation teaser is out and totally awesome

Mission Impossible

The Mission: Impossible franchise is back, in its fifth installment. The new movie will be called Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation and we got our first glimpse of it on Saturday thanks to a one-minute teaser trailer tweeted by Tom Cruise.

The film, directed by Christopher McQuarrie and written by Drew Pearce and Will Staples, began filming on 21 August 2014 in Vienna, Austria, and wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, on 12 March.

Rogue Nation stars Cruise as Impossible Mission Force (iMF) agent Ethan Hunt, alongside Alec Baldwin, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames.

The teaser literally teases with stunts and short dialogue and gives nothing away as far as plot is concerned. From it, one thing can be gathered, someone has started an ‘anti-IMF’, that is as good as Ethan Hunt as his cronies, promising amazing stunts. Hunt and his friends will, of course, try to bring the syndicate down by whatever means.

The full length trailer for Rogue Nation is scheduled for a release today.

The film’s official release date is 31 July 2015.
