The group became an overnight, world-wide sensation when their first video single, “Enter the Ninja” appeared on popular blog Boing Boing, and then went viral on YouTube with millions of views at the beginning of this year. The band relied heavily on promoting their songs via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube — and received instant world-wide acclaim with stars like Limp Bizkit front man Fred Durst and Katy Perry tweeting about them.

Die Antwoord’s new video single, Evil Boy, features explicit lyrics and an over-generous screening of rubber dildos. A District-9 prawn arm also makes an appearance, attached to the band’s tattooed front-man, Ninja. The video also features teenage Xhosa artist Wanga, who adds some kwaito cred to the video. The Philadelphia-based producer DJ Diplo can also be seen in the fast-paced video.
