It said “special items” will be available to visitors to the “Mega-Farm” including a “Mega-Grow” formula which helps FarmVille players instantly grow crops without wilting.
“FarmVille’s extraordinary reach in the social media and gaming space is unparalleled and we are thrilled to work with Zynga to bring Megamind into their online world,” DreamWorks marketing chief Anne Globe said.
“Through this first-of-its-kind global collaboration, we look forward to reaching movie lovers and FarmVille fans in innovative and engaging ways on their very own farms starting tomorrow,” Globe said.
DreamWorks and Zynga said the collaboration will last for 24 hours.
Zynga claims more than 225 million monthly active users of its games, which include “Mafia Wars,” “Treasure Isle,” “Zynga Poker,” “Cafe World,” “FishVille” and “PetVille” in addition to “FarmVille.” – AFP
