The accidental spillage of fake Kim Jong-il ashes on the red carpet before the Academy Awards has the internet in stitches.
Television pretty boy Ryan Seacrest was at the receiving end of Sacha Baron Cohen’s prank at the Oscars. The actor dressed as General Aladeen from his upcoming movie The Dictator, “accidentally” spilled Kim Jong-il’s ashes on an unsuspecting Seacrest who, at the time, was interviewing him on the red carpet.

Baron Cohen arrived at the awards ceremony in full military gear designed by John Galliano carrying an urn, which he claimed contained the ashes of the deceased North Korean leader.
During his red carpet interview with Seacrest, Baron Cohen said it was Jong Il’s wish to be sprinkled over the red carpet and “over Halle Berry’s chest.” When Seacrest turned his head, Baron Cohen “accidentally” spilled the contents of the urn on his tuxedo.
“I had a feeling something was coming,” said Seacrest, brushing off the ashes.
“If someone asks you what you are wearing, say Kim Jong-il,” the Admiral said as he was led away.
There are several videos of the prank floating about the web as well as an animated GIF.
