So it seems that magicians can do more than saw people in half and make things disappear… who would have thought? A pair of Swedish magicians has replaced the standard rabbit-and-hat trick with seven shiny iPads and a lot of slight of hand.
Erik Rosales and Charlie Caper performed at the MIPIM real estate trade show in Cannes, where they cleverly wound their magic tricks around the tablets. The iPad pours wine into a glass and discharges leaves, a lightbulb, confetti and flowers from its screen. They’ve timed the show perfectly, so that the iPads play videos and work in unison with each other and the two magicians.

It’s a pretty cool promo for Stockholm… although they need to have a stern word with whoever was behind the camera, and tell them where and where not to focus when filming next time. You can see them pull everything from plastic flowers to fake hands out of their pockets, if you look close enough. What, magic isn’t real?!
