The latest feature being touted by Twitter comes in the form of a staple of traditional online media: the weekly newsletter.
Yup that’s right, if you feel like you don’t get enough emails from the social network, you can now get a weekly summary of what went down. You know, just in case there was something you missed in the five seconds you averted your eyes from it.

Twitter claims that the newsletter “features the most relevant Tweets and stories shared by the people you’re connected to”.
The new feature borrows heavily from the recently updated Discover tab, “emphasising who shared each story beneath summaries to help you decide which ones matter most to you”.
Twitter says you can also click any headline to finish reading a story, tweet directly from the email, and see related Tweets from the people you follow.
You can also view tweets seen by the people you follow, even if you don’t follow those who wrote them. From there you can reportedly see who from your network retweeted or favourited these tweets.
Oh, and the service will roll out to everyone, so you’ll be a getting a newsletter in your inbox sometime soon. Twitter does, however, claim that you can opt out of it. Then again, what are the chances of that, you lazy sods?
