Design a T-Shirt, win 20k

Nokia pimp our devs

A great design can be the difference between success and failure. Done well, it make your brand or campaign iconic. Done poorly and you’ll be instantly forgettable, or you could be forgotten, or ridiculed.

A new design might not be able to turn Nokia’s fortunes around, but it could help. Okay okay, an undiscovered designer probably isn’t going to design the Finnish company’s new corporate identity, but you could help make its developers look better.

Design site Springleap is hosting a contest where designers get the chance to submit their designs to pimp up the Nokia Developer community with a R20 000 prize for the winner.

The aim, says Springleap “is to find that perfect geeky design that every Nokia Developer will love to wear” and identify with and to “‘pimp’ the Nokia devs with awesome new gear”.

Submissions close 20 July 2012 and you can enter up to five designs.

If you want to stand a chance at winning then check out the brief and submit your designs.

You can also vote for other people’s designs until 27 July.
