That’s right folks, there’s a new Robocop movie in the works and it’s building buzz for itself with a (yawn) viral campaign.
One of the main thrusts of the campaign is a website for the film’s villainous face of big business Omnicorp. The site is the home of an advert-style trailer showing off sky drones, a new dark and gritty version of the ED 209 and, of course, incredibly unsubtle hints of the programme that will eventually result in Robocop.

Look, the YouTube version of the video has hit around 80 000 views since going live over the weekend. That’s solid but it still has a long way to go before it becomes a Prometheus-esque viral sensation.
The remake of the 1987 film is slated for release in 2013.
