Rocket Internet is fiercely growing its global empire. Last week, the German company entered Burma with an ecommerce play and now it seems that the company also has plans for Cambodia where it has launched yet an another ecommerce site, reports The Next Web.

The site will also be expanding into other range products such as baby products. User will be able to can order products, that are delivered on the same day and paid for on arrival (a similar service which Rocket Internet offers in Nigeria).
The ecommerce portal is a first for Cambodia’s small but growing online commerce sector, according to Karl Seilern, a co-founder of Rocket Internet Cambodia, who told the Post that it is the first business-to-customer site in the country.
“Most ecommerce sites in Cambodia are customer-to-customer; I don’t know of any business-to-customer online store here,” he said.
The startup incubator currently operates more than “half a dozen regional service across a range of Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam; although there may be other country-specific projects that the notoriously secretive firm has yet to reveal”, reports The Next Web.
Earlier this year Rocket Internet also announced it would be launching a price comparison site in Southeast Asia called PricePanda.
