Any dedicated fashionistas who thought they would rather die than be caught wearing Google Glass may just be changing their attitude. This after Google’s innovative project made an appearance at New York Fashion Week.
Late yesterday, models at the world-famous fashion extravaganza appeared on the runway during Diane von Furstenberg’s (DVF) Spring/Summer 2013 collection appeared wearing the Google augmented reality product.

According to Mashable, the bands of each Google Glass headset were modified to reflect the patterns and colours of individual pieces in the collection. At least some of the models had the devices turned on.
Members of the DVF support crew were also wearing the devices and recording from them. The images and footage shot during the show are set to be compiled into a short film.
The film, called “DVF through Glass” will appear on DVF’s Google+ page on Thursday.
