Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has a new project. Unlike the social network, or Blogger or Medium however, this one isn’t an online tool meant to “revolutionise” the way we use the web. It’s a film.

The film, called Evermore, is part of Canon’s Project Imaginat10n and used 10 user-generated photos to create the movie.
Project Imaginat10n is organised by Canon and renowned Hollywood director Ron Howard. Members of the public submit their photos to the project site. After a judging panel selects the finalists, Ron Howard and and the public determine the 91 winners. From there celebrity directors choose 10 photos, one per theme, ultimately setting the stage for their upcoming films.
Stone’s fellow celebrity directors include Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, Jaime Foxx, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, and electronic music legend James Murphy.
Here’s a behind the scenes look at Evermore, which takes its inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” and tells the story of a family coming together after the passing of one of its members.
Stone has previously said that he’s really excited by the process of film-making:
What I want to do is play. One of the ideas I have is to tell a story within a story, and this will allow me to experiment with certain capabilities, and I want to be able to push creatively and technically,” he says. “I want to work with the cinematographer and the director of photography and ask a lot of questions … ‘Can we do this? Can we do that?’ Hopefully at the end of this, I’ll be able to do more.
Evermore is set to debut in cinemas later this year.
