Tonight's J-burg show cancelled. SA authorities REFUSE TO LET ME INTO YOUR COUNTRY. Trying to resolve it. #MessiahComplex

The issue reportedly arose because of problems with Brand’s passport.
The performer was due to kick of the South African leg of his Messiah Complex tour, but has had to postpone his performances in the country until the situation could be resolved. “We apologise to Russell Brand fans for the inconvenience and for this unexpected and disappointing last-minute change. This only affects tonight’s show. The remainder of the SA Tour will go ahead as scheduled,” Brand’s PR company said.
Naturally, once the Twittersphere got hold of the news, everyone felt that it was the right time channel their own inner comedians. We’ve rounded up some of the best efforts for your general amusement.

Lies! The reason Russel Brand was denied entry to SA is because they thought he was Jan Van Riebeeck trying to make a come back.
