Yes, despite the idyllic rural settings featured in this mid-size luxury vehicle’s official press shots, the BMW X5 – particularly the performance M50d model we tested – is awkwardly out of place in The Wild and far more comfortable in a bustling city, in defiance of its considerable dimensions.
