Apple has joined the slew of companies paying tribute to Robin Williams following the actor and comedian’s suicide earlier this week.

On its homepage, the Cupertino-based giant placed a giant black and white portrait of Williams, along with the words:
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. He inspired us through his passion, his generosity, and the gift of laughter. He will be greatly missed”.
It’s pretty rare for public figures to get a tribute on the page, with previous recipients including Nelson Mandela and Rosa Parks. Apple founder Steve Jobs and board member Jerry York also received tributes on the page.
