Welcome to our Weekly Roundup, our weekly podcast that discusses tech trends, innovation and news. Joining this podcast edition is almost everyone from the Burn Media group. Under pseudonyms (in the spirit of Halloween), sitting around the table are Clarke Kent, Wolverine, The Narrator from Fight Club, Hank Moody, the killer from I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Miss Crazy-ass Witch.
This week we saw some really interesting news in the world of tech. There is a bit of something for everyone, from Microsoft’s answer to the world of wearables, Apple CEO Tim Cook’s sexuality, Memeburn’s massive agency landscape article, and our dear Managing Editor Michelle Atagana bidding us farewell from the Burn Media gang.
Arguably one of the most powerful men in the US, Tim Cook finally came out of the closet, officially announcing his homosexuality. “I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me,” Cook said in an op-ed for Bloomberg.
