Remember the epic ‘Here it goes again‘ or ‘This too shall pass‘, ‘Skyscrapers‘ or ‘End Love‘? Well, difficult as it is to believe, they have released a new video which is beyond epic.
The new video is for OK Go’s song ‘I won’t let you down’ and it has all the hallmarks of a classic OK Go’s video. It has a highly choreographed routine and more it is shot on a drone-mounted camera and the entire video is filmed in one long uncut take.
It starts with the band in a warehouse, dancing on electric unicycles with crew putting make up and prepping the group and then they move out and what follows next is unbelievable. The drone-mounted camera moves in all kinds of directions, offering the viewer multiple angles. What the camera films is as spellbinding: an ensemble of dancers executing spectacular choreography that involves first dozens of women and then hundreds of women with colourful umbrellas.
The video was filmed in a location in Japan.
