Facebook will now auto-enhance newly uploaded photos via mobile. The feature, which rolls out on iOS today and is set to come to Android in the near future, will allow users to adjust a slider to control just how enhanced you want the light, shadow, and clarity, or revert back to the original photograph.

Sharing photographs has been made convenient and popular by Instagram with its different filters. This has seen Twitter introduce its own filters to put up a fight, Snapchat with its dual-filter with colour filters and its geo-filter titles and now Facebook, though it is less impressive compared to Instagram and Twitter, is making a gesture at photo editing and it should as people share photos on Facebook.
It might be less impressive but it is quite a step up from its one-size-fits-all light enhancement which took all power from the user.
