The organisers of digital marketing event Digital Edge Live, now in its seventh year, have put up an extra 500 tickets for sale to the public.
The event, which is sponsored by Nedbank and NATIVE VML in collaboration with 360 Degrees, will see the likes of US filmmaker Spike Lee take to the stage at the Sandton Convention Centre on 9 September.

“Due to the incredible demand we’ve expanded our capacity in the Sandton Convention Centre Pavilion to allow more delegates the opportunity to see our headline speaker Spike Lee along with a powerful line-up of SA’s leading digital storytellers in action,” says Jarred Cinman, Managing Director at NATIVE VML.

According to Cinman, the resultant expansion of the venue facility has allowed in a new tiering structure with a base price ticket of R 1700 (excluding VAT) being released. At the top end, delegates opting for the premium ticket price of R2 200 will see people seated in the Nedbank Green Circle, which is a new feature at this year’s event.
That will put them in line to be one of two people who will stand the chance to meet Spike Lee in person on the day of the event. Winners will be drawn via random seat selection and announced during the show.
Students are also accommodated with a special discounted ticket of R 1,400 (excluding VAT) per ticket, with student card validation required on the day at registration.
Tickets for the event are available online.
