Ventureburn looks at a new ecommerce company in South Africa called Geek Crate, which sends you a monthly crate of all things geek, from comic books to actual toys. The team debates how the startup will satisfy its picky customers.

Getting a car fixed is not a small matter, worse if the car needs to wait for parts that have to be ordered from another country. What if there was a way to bypass this and have the parts printed instead of being shipped.

The teams debates how this with 3D printing could revolutionise or disrupt the transportation industry as we know it.

Gamescom is one of the biggest gaming event in the international calendar. It is here that game developers come together to show each other how big their toys are. How was did the major European conference pan out this year, did it hold up to its reputation? Which games should we look forward to?

South Africa’s new regulations have not been lenient on drones, coming down on them with strict measures, especially for commercial use. This has not killed the drone industry in South Africa though, and drone enthusiasts still meet and race drones.
