Adobe and Dropbox are forming a partnership that will allow for easy integration between the two platforms. From now on users will be able to collaborate with PDF files on Dropbox in a few steps, allowing them to achieve optimum results without a cumbersome process.
Starting today, users working on a Mac and PC can add their Dropbox accounts from the latest of Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader desktop apps. This allows users quick access to PDFs stored on Dropbox without having to exit their Adobe desktop apps.

Some of the actions that users will be able to perform once the integration has advanced to the next phases will be to annotate and comment on PDFs stored in Dropbox from their iPhone and iPad using Acrobat Reader mobile app.

Any changes users make to files, be it on the desktop, web or mobile apps, will be automatically synced to Dropbox, allowing the users to access them from any other device from wherever they are.
Dropbox says that working with Adobe is only the initial step of a process in which it wants its users to easily work with any kind of file, from viewing to editing to sharing. In the coming months, there will be deeper mobile integration.
To get the integration on computers, users have to download the free Acrobat Reader desktop app or if they already have, update for a new version and then add their Dropbox account. Android users will have to wait a little longer as this integration will only come to them in 2016.
