In case you’re too busy using Snapchat, or don’t bother with all this social media nonsense, Instagram has done the one thing social media users absolutely hate: change its app.
The company today launched a revised Instagram app, with monochrome buttons and a new icon that now boasts the full sunset gradient treatment.
No ad to show here.
While the app remains the same in terms of navigable menus, button placements and overall mechanics, Instagram does note that the change aims to “puts more focus on your photos and videos without changing how you navigate the app.”
But even so, people are rather, rather annoyed, and took to Twitter to comment on the new app but especially the new icon.
Here are some of the funniest comments.
