Finding Dory, the sequel to 2003’s hit Finding Nemo, has taken top spot over the weekend (17 to 19 June) in South African cinemas. It’s managed to kick the WarCraft movie down a spot from first place last week.
Besides Finding Dory, the top five movies this past week are mostly the same as before, with Now You See Me: The Second Act, Angry Birds, and The Conjuring 2 occupying positions in the top five.

Last week’s newcomer, The Nice Guys has entered at sixth position, while the once-titan X-Men: Apocalypse is now sitting in tenth place and edging its way off of the list. Trailing close behind is Alice Through the Looking Glass, which has dropped from six to ninth spot and may just fall down its own rabbit hole.
