Between longer videos, Twitter Engage and targeted advertising for emojis, Twitter has been very busy over the past few weeks.
Now, the company has unveiled another new feature in the form of Stickers.

Twitter‘s implementation of Stickers lets you simply place one of hundreds of stickers onto your photo, being a “fun new way to add creativity” to your pictures, the service said.
“Soon, you can browse our rotating sets of stickers to join in on real-time conversations, and select from the library of hundreds of accessories, emoji, and props to make your photos more fun. Use them to share what you’re doing or how you’re feeling, to show support for a cause, or to just add some flair,” the service elaborated.

It added that multiple stickers can be used on a single photo and that they can be resized and rotated as well.
Tapping a Sticker in a photo will bring up other instances of that Sticker being used, akin to a visual hashtag of sorts, Twitter explained. To us, that sounds an awful lot like Snapchat.
“The ability to add stickers to your photos will be rolling out over the next few weeks for people using Twitter for iOS and Android. You will also be able to view and click stickers on Twitter.com,” Twitter said.
