Step aside Trump, because Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has a bigger, taller and more annoying wall than you.
According to an Hawaiian newspaper report, Zuck has erected a six-foot wall along his 700-acre US$100-million property on Kauai, and it hasn’t been taken kindly by the residents.

“It’s really sad that somebody would come in, and buy a huge piece of land and the first thing they do is cut off this view that’s been available and appreciative by the community here for years,” long-time local resident Gy Hall tells The Garden Island.
“The feeling of it is really oppressive. It’s immense.”

The move is also delectably ironic, considering Zuckerberg’s condemning F8 Conference stance on Donald Trump‘s Mexican border wall.
“I hear fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as ‘others.’,” Zuckerberg said in April.
According to residents, this wall isn’t just keeping people out, but it’s also obstructing views of the coastline, and even preventing cool breezes from blowing across parts of the island.
So will he play his people first card and tear down this “monstrosity”? Not likely, according to Shosana Chantara, yet another annoyed resident.
“It’s just that he [Shawn Smith, one of the property sellers to Zuck] told me very clearly that nothing will change. I’m not quite sure how much that will accomplish, but I am going to meet with him.”
