Over the past weekend (10 to 12 June), SA audiences clamoured to see the next video game to big screen adaptation, WarCraft. It just goes to show that the general public doesn’t always listen to reviews.
The top three spots this weekend were dominated by WarCraft, Now You See Me: The Second Act, and Angry Birds. Another newcomer this week is The Conjuring 2 sitting in fourth position.

It looks like superhero movies are making way for newer titles. Captain America: Civil War is no longer in the top 10, with X-Men Apocalypse having slipped from first to fifth position.
Alice Through the Looking Glass has also dropped from third to sixth position, and Money Monster is sitting in the eighth spot down from second.
