Apple’s iTunes makes sharing purchases with loved ones rather easy, but Google-toting users can get in on the action now as well.
The Google Play Family Library feature allows up to six family members to share purchases, the company announced in a blog post.

“When you buy an eligible app, game, movie, TV show, or book in the Play Store, you can now share it with your family — across devices — with no additional sign-up fee,” the company elaborated.
Android devices have access to all shared content, while movies, TV shows and books can be shared via iOS devices and the web as well.
“With Family Library, you can choose which items you want to share and which to keep to yourself,” Google continued, saying it will also allow users to add a “family” credit card as an additional payment method.
Don’t want to give younger family members direct access to a credit card? Then you can approve their purchases instead, giving parents more peace of mind and less bill shock.
“Starting today, Family Library will be rolling out over the next few days and will be available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.”
Unfortunately, South Africa isn’t one of the supported countries just yet, as visiting the Family Library website gives us a dead-end.
