Logan (aka Wolverine) has been through a lot in his life. Not only has he destroyed a sentinel army, returned to the past thanks to the future, and battled an evil Japanese dude who wanted his mojo, he’s still ended up in a pretty rough shape after it all.
Thankfully, we’re getting yet another movie dedicated to his chaotic life.

Logan will also likely be Hugh Jackman’s final appearance as Wolverine, as he’s set to relinquish the role he’s made his own since 2000. But while Jackman might be leaving the X-Men universe for good, the first Logan trailer is a stark departure from what we’ve seen in any previous flick.

Logan is brooding, strangely uneasy and lit with contrasts of earthy colours and subtle hues. Visually, the movie looks an absolute treat. Audibly, the gentle strums of Johnny Cash in the background only adds to the mood.
In the final Wolverine flick, we follow the Old Man protagonist in a world where mutant births are on the decline. Professor X (reprised by Patrick Stewart) however stumbles across a young mutant in need of his and Logan’s help. And of course, cue the twists, turns, fights and emotional rollercoasters.
But before we give too much away, have a look at the movie’s debut trailer below. The flick is expected to hit theatres in the US on 3 March 2017, and hopefully soon after in South Africa.
