There are a few key things to remember when working at a large company. One, at least at Twitter, is to not suspend your boss’s Twitter account. But it seems that yesterday someone forgot that very important rule.
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was suspended from the website he founded earlier today, in what has been labeled by him an “internal mistake”.

Around 6pm SAST on Monday, tweeters discovered that the famous @Jack Twitter account was no longer active. Dorsey’s account is also famous for posting the very first tweet on the network back in 2006.
At the time of writing, Dorsey’s account is back online and functioning as it should.

There’s no word on whether this “internal mistake” was a premature April Fool’s prank, or indeed an error in the service’s suspension function.
Nevertheless, this minor (if not slightly curious) blip just adds to Twitter’s rather torrid year.
