Forget #SaltBae and #ThePeoplesBae, South Africa has found a new bae to fawn over.
In a YouTube video released by The Scene, two exes sit face-to-face to discuss why they broke up.

Kourtney and Leonard dated while they were in college and throughout their relationship he slept with “countless” other women. In the video, they discuss how their romance blossomed and the break up that followed. Kourtney would go through his phone, questioning his conversations with other women. He admitted to his infidelity and promised he’d change.
He didn’t, and she eventually walked in on him and another woman. She said she still forgave him, because he was her best friend.
#HurtBae is what happens when your scorned relationship becomes a Twitter meme
In the video, Kourtney is emotional and sincere, while Leonard looks like he is trying hard not to smile.
Twitter has not taken to this lightly.
Referring to Kourtney as #HurtBae, many South Africans have come to her defense.

Another ‘bae’ meme?
“Bae” as a suffix for memes has been growing in popularity this year, especially after #SaltBae took the world by storm in January 2017.
After the State of the Nation Address too, South African Twitter dubbed EFF’s Mbuyiseni Quintin Ndlozi and the UDM’s Nqabayomzi Kwankwa #ThePeoplesBae, after the two representatives battled it our for the social network’s heart.
