One reason to watch the NFL’s Superbowl — even if you have no idea how American Football is — is the halftime show. This Sunday, Houston hosted the 51st edition of this prestigious sporting spectacle, oh, and the small matter of a Lady Gaga concert too.
Although it only lasted a quarter of an hour, the Manhattan-born singer-songwriter performed a pretty damn incredible medley of her most famous hits, including Just Dance, Poker Face, Born This Way and Million Reasons.

Mind, Million Reasons — a slow piano-driven ballad — was performed after running around the stage, jumping off pedestals and flying through the Houston air. Not bad.
Lady Gaga performed during the Superbowl halftime show on Sunday, backed by a slew of colourful drones
Bringing a splash of 2017 to the performance, Lady Gaga also performed an ode to America while standing atop the NRG Stadium with drones flooding the sky behind her. They also formed the American flag, because, the Superbowl.
These Shooting Star drones, as they’re called, were actually crafted by Intel.
Lady Gaga’s performance wasn’t as controversial as previous shows, including the infamous Justin Timberlake/Janet Jackson show of 2004, or the Left Shark fiasco of 2015, but it is one of the best we’ll likely see in a good few years.
Drink it in, world. Have a look at the full concert below.
Oh, and sidenote: the Patriots beat the Falcons in overtime, to claim a fifth Superbowl title.
