If you haven’t seen this meme yet: what are you doing, baby?
Every now and then a meme is formed out of pure joy and love, and this may just be the first of 2017.
No ad to show here.
College student Nick Joseph and his friend Dan Rue have a knack for getting in trouble and dancing their way through it — and it’s delightful to watch on screen.
On 4 March, the duo posted the first vlog of their #ThatsTheOne series on YouTube. The series follows them as they crash weddings, steal primates and ‘trespass’ on basketball players’ mansions.
My personal favourite sees the two stealing a primate, feeding him marshmallows and stowing him in Dan’s hood.
But it was the video in which Nick and Dan sneak onto NBA player Anthony Davis’ property that cemented the two as a meme.
Nick’s distinctive manner of speech has become a hit on Twitter, with his catchphrase “oh no, baby, what is you doing” carrying the same star power as “damn, Daniel” or, dare I say it, “cash me ousside.”

Nick Joseph is no stranger to internet fame. His Vines (RIP) stacked up 209-million loops on only 552 posts (that’s a 330 000 average).
We wish him nothing but the best in his rejuvenated viral fame — and we thank him profusely for letting us forget about “cash me ousside” once and for all.
