US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order reinstating a ban on the citizens of six Muslim-majority countries, this time removing Iraq from the original list.
It’s been suggested that the changes were made to protect the order from being repealed by courts.

The most obvious change to the order is the protection of US citizens and visa holders — the new ban is only intended for visa applicants, and not those already granted permission to enter.
Trump has kept the ban on refugees, but this time those in transit or approved to enter will be allowed in. Travellers who are visiting the country to visit close US citizen relatives will also be permitted entry.
According to Reuters, legal experts say that the order will be difficult to challenge, as it largely protects people already living in the US.

Like everything Trump has done, a solid line has been drawn between supporters and opponents on social media.
In this case, the line is so blatant that those discussing the issue can’t even agree on a hashtag. Most supporters have taken to #TravelBan, while most opponents prefer #MuslimBan.
