Snapchat Spectacles are now available in a select number of European cities, seven months after the wearables launched in the United States.
The company first hinted that a move across the Atlantic was an option, suggesting that the glasses would be sold at tourist spots across the US first. And judging by the initial offering of European cities, the company is sticking to that philosophy.

Barcelona, Berlin, London, Paris and Venice are the chosen cities, all noted for their high tourist volumes.

As for the price, a pair of Snapchat Spectacles will cost £130 or €150, similar to the US$130 pricetag for US buyers.
Snapchat Spectacles allows users to take photographs and record 30 second video clips to upload to the social network. It also stores those images onboard, and connects to your smartphone using Bluetooth or WiFi.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that the wearables will be heading to South Africa any time soon, but at least they’re now slightly closer.
