“With thousands of emoji available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, there are many ways to add personality to every message,” the Cupertino company notes in a press release.
As for the new emoji, there are over 15 heading for users’ devices, including a number of completely new icons.
A breastfeeding emoji, a woman with headscarf emoji and a new high-resolution vomit emoji joins a t-rex, a zebra and a zombie emoji. There’s also a genie, a sandwich, and a coconut to name a few.
Apple failed to mention when these emoji will be available, but it did slap the ever vague “later this year” label into its press release.
