Original article: Yesterday it was Johannesburg that experienced severe weather. Today it’s Durban.
The city on the Eastern coastline of South Africa is today experiencing torrential rain as the result of a cut-off low which formed over the country yesterday.
It’s the same system that resulted in Monday’s storm, which lashed Johannesburg’s West Rand and moved across the province.
At around 10.30am, #DurbanStorm began trending on Twitter in Durban and across South Africa, as users posted videos and images of the weather and its effects.
