Netflix original Black Mirror has been renewed for a fifth season, confirmed this week through a cryptic tweet — the only applicable way, it seems.
“The future will be brighter than ever,” the post reads, compelte with a video of scenes from 12 previous episodes displayed on 12 different screens reminiscent of the Architect scene from The Matrix.

Odd? Yes. Typically Black Mirror? Absolutely.

But what does it mean?
Perhaps season five would tie up the loose ends of the previous seasons? Perhaps its simply a special one-episode season? Maybe these old episodes will be re-explored in the upcoming season?
Either way, we haven’t a new launch date or hint from Netflix when we can expect the new episodes to arrive.
