MTN Made For Home is an easy to use, plug and play solution that requires only a router and a SIM card, to give multiple users within the home instant connectivity to high speed internet, without the trenching and complicated installation procedures, that is typically associated with fixed line products,” the company notes in a release.

And according to Jacqui O’Sullivan, the company’s corporate affairs exec, Made For Home is a “response to a growing number of customers that needs a high speed internet connection in their homes”.

This is their gateway to a world of endless possibilities, whether music and video streaming, social networking, remote monitoring or simply online research,” she adds.

There will be four plans to choose from:

  • MTN Made For Home 15GB at R369pm | includes: 15GB Anytime data and 15GB Night Express data
  • MTN Made For Home 30GB at R669pm | includes: 30GB Anytime data and 30GB Night Express data
  • MTN Made For Home 60GB at R1069pm | includes: 60GB Anytime data and 60GB Night Express data

Additionally, consumers can also top-up their bundles, starting at R69 for 2GB for the lightest add-on, and 100GB at R999 for the heaviest. These can be bought as once-off or recurring top-ups.

MTN’s service will only be available within the company’s Fixed LTE coverage areas.
