Late last week during a meeting of business executives at the White House, US President Donald Trump referred to Tim Cook — Apple’s CEO — as Tim Apple.
Of course, the internet just couldn’t deal with the leader of the free world’s latest gaffe, and a slew of beautiful memes were born. Hell, even Tim Cook himself joined in on the fun, changing his Twitter name to Tim Apple in jest.

But on Monday, Donald Trump suggested that he knew Tim Cook’s actual name, and decided to rename the head of the technology firm to “save time & words”.
“At a recent round table meeting of business executives, & long after formally introducing Tim Cook of Apple, I quickly referred to Tim + Apple as Tim/Apple as an easy way to save time & words,” Trump tweeted.

We don’t think it’s all that negative when it makes people laugh.
Neverthless, the tweet has reheated what has long since become a stale piece of March meme memory. Or has it just birthed another?
