This goes without saying, spoiler warning for practically everything until Game of Thrones’ Season 8.

Winter is Coming (Season 1, Episode 1)

You need to feel those goosebumps when you realise this entire episode, right down to its title, is filled with foreshadowing for the events that take place throughout the show.

Baelor (S1, E9)

Remember the cruel, heart breaking moment when Ned Stark was beheaded, solidifying your need for some Stark justice.

And Now His Watch is Ended (S3, E4)

Witness the chilling moment Daenerys Targaryen outsmarts the ruler of a slave city for the first time, burning him alive and taking the Unsullied army for her own.

The Rains of Castamere (S3, E9)

The Red Wedding is a sick, but necessary re-watch. We all need to remember that Game of Thrones has no respect for the hearts of fans and is probably going to ruin us all with an upsetting ending.

The Lion and the Rose (S4, E2)

It’s always worth watching King Joffery choke to death at his own wedding, even if its just to assure you that there is justice for some in Westeros.

Mother’s Mercy (S5, E9)

Watch Cersei Lannister’s infamous walk of atonement one more time, just to keep in mind that some punishment’s can be rather extreme on the show.

The Battle of the Bastards (S6, E9)

You simply can’t skip one of the best battle scenes in TV and Game of Thrones history, especially when the final season promises two battles to entire topple the Battle of the Bastards. Also, Ramsey Bolton gets beaten up by Jon Snow and then ripped to shreds by his own dogs.

Beyond the Wall (S7, E6)

A chilling reminder that the Night King killed one of Daenerys’ dragons and now there’s an undead Viserion coming for everyone.

Watch these eight episodes and you’re bound to reignite the blood lust, fear and anticipation that can only come with watching Game of Thrones end forever.
