On Friday, Microsoft revealed that the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview Build will include support for Android notifications.
This means that users will soon be able to link their Android phones to their Windows 10 PCs to receive phone notifications.

“Stop reaching for your phone to check your notifications. Boost your focus and productivity by seeing your phone’s notifications on your PC,” the company said on its blog.
The feature is part of Preview Build 18885, and will allow users to view their notifications in real-time while also allowing them to customise which notifications appear on their PCs.
“You are in control and manage which apps you want to receive notifications from,” Microsoft’s Windows team explained.
The company also noted that the feature will close notifications on both devices once opened or dismissed.
The Android notification feature will roll out to Windows 10 Insider users over the next few weeks.
